These terms apply to your use of the PourPulse apps for iOS, Android, and the web, and the website pourpulse.nolanng.tech (together, “PourPulse”). PourPulse is provided by Nolann, an individual developer based in Vietnam (“we”, “us”). By using PourPulse you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use PourPulse.
1. Using PourPulse
You can use PourPulse without an account in guest mode. To create an account you must be at least 16 years old (or the minimum age required where you live) and provide accurate information. You are responsible for keeping your password secure and for activity on your account.
2. Your content
Brew sessions, beans, ratings, taste notes, and other content you add remain yours. You give us a limited licence to store, process, and display that content only to provide PourPulse to you, for example to sync it across your devices. We do not publish your content or use it for advertising.
3. Acceptable use
Do not misuse PourPulse. In particular, do not:
- break the law or infringe anyone’s rights;
- try to access accounts or data that are not yours;
- interfere with, overload, or probe the security of the service;
- reverse engineer the service except where the law allows;
- use automated means to create accounts or extract data.
4. Our content and intellectual property
PourPulse, its name, logo, design, and built-in recipes and guidance are owned by us or our licensors. Open-source components are licensed under their own terms, listed in the app. These terms do not give you any right to use our trademarks.
5. Brewing safety
Brewing coffee involves hot water, hot equipment, and caffeine. Follow the instructions for your equipment, take care with boiling water, and keep equipment away from children. Recipes, timings, and ratios are guidance, not professional, medical, or nutritional advice. Consider your own caffeine tolerance and health.
6. Availability and changes
We may update, change, or discontinue features. PourPulse is currently free. If we introduce paid features we will clearly tell you the price and terms before you buy. We aim to keep PourPulse available but do not guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error-free.
7. Third-party platforms
Your download and use of the app are also subject to the terms of the store you got it from. For apps downloaded from the Apple App Store, Apple’s Licensed Application End User License Agreement (Standard EULA) also applies. Apple is not responsible for PourPulse or its support.
8. Ending your use
You can stop using PourPulse and delete your account at any time (see Support). We may suspend or close accounts that seriously or repeatedly break these terms, and will tell you why unless the law or a security risk prevents it.
9. Disclaimers
PourPulse is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the extent permitted by law, we make no warranties about its accuracy, reliability, or fitness for a particular purpose. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have as a consumer that cannot be limited by contract.
10. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential losses, or for loss of data, arising from your use of PourPulse. Because PourPulse is free, our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us for PourPulse in the 12 months before the claim (if any). We do not exclude liability where the law does not allow it, such as for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or fraud.
11. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of Vietnam. If you have a concern, please contact us first and we will try to resolve it informally. If we cannot, the dispute will be resolved by the competent court in Vietnam. If you are a consumer, you also keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where you live and may bring a claim there.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. We will change the effective date and, for significant changes, notify you in the app before they take effect. Continuing to use PourPulse after that means you accept the updated terms.
